Description:
Southwestern Texas cuisine is served up in a barn-like setting lined with western memorabilia and lots of neon. A meal at Austin's is fun, informal, and filling. The menu features hearty classics like chicken fried chicken (smothered in gravy), Panhandle fried catfish, Porterhouse steaks, and barbecue ribs. There are items on the lighter side, like soups and salads, as well as nice appetizers to choose from. The place is noisy, partly because of its popular status, but it offers a good meal at good prices.
